Who owns what, and how photos and videos can be used on Reelography — explained simply for both couples and studios.
1. Portfolio media
Photographers keep ownership of their creative work. By adding portfolio media, a studio lets Reelography host, resize, and display it on discovery feeds, public profiles, and marketing pages so couples can find them. Studios should only upload work they have the right to share.
2. Your booking photos
- Final photos and videos in your booking or Reelo Event are for you and the guests you allow, based on your visibility settings.
- Access and downloads can depend on payment status, delivery review, and any open dispute.
- Please don't redistribute delivered media in ways that break the studio's stated usage terms for your package.
3. Guest face discovery
When face discovery is enabled for an event, a guest opts in with a reference selfie and gets back only the moments they appear in — never the full album, and never photos from other events. Guests can report a wrong match, and the customer can turn the feature off.
4. Storage and deletion
Each Reelo Event includes 50GB for 3 months, with paid upgrades available. As storage nears its limit or expiry, we send reminders before anything becomes read-only or scheduled for removal. We won't delete media while a dispute, refund, or legal hold is open.
5. Instagram and campaigns
If a studio links Instagram, those metrics stay the studio's own connection data and are used only for discovery popularity. Reels posted as part of a couple campaign live on Instagram under that campaign's rules — we don't claim ownership of those posts.
6. Moderation and takedown
We may hide or remove media that breaks our rules, contains banned contact details, fails moderation, or is subject to a lawful takedown. Reports are reviewed by our team.
